Our terms, in plain English

1. IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?

Every organisation works a little differently, so we can't promise our software will suit everyone's needs. That's exactly why we'd rather you try it than take our word for it — see the trial below before you commit to anything.

2. FREE TRIAL

You can trial the product for 42 days with no obligation and nothing to pay. Use it with your own data, run it through a real event, and decide in your own time. (42 days is the usual period — if you need a little longer, just ask.)

3. PURCHASE AND REFUNDS

Prices are in Australian dollars. CaRob Computing is not currently registered for GST, so no GST is charged and none is added to the prices shown. A full purchase is a one-off payment. If you change your mind, you can cancel and receive a full refund within 42 days of purchase — a further 42 days on top of the trial. No fine print and no fees to hand the software back.

4. UPDATES

A full purchase includes free updates for the life of the product — improvements, fixes and new features at no extra cost. The one exception is a major new generation of the software, which is unlikely and rare; if one is ever on the way we'll tell you well in advance and explain what it means for you.

5. ONLINE FEATURES

Some optional online features may carry a modest annual fee to cover hosting and support. Where a fee applies it is set out separately — see our pricing page. The software you have purchased keeps working without it.

6. SUPPORT

We're a small Australian team and we answer our own email. If something isn't working, or you're unsure how to do something, get in touch at office@carobcom.com and we'll do our best to help.

7. YOUR PRIVACY

We collect only the details we need to supply the product and support you, and we handle them in line with the Australian Privacy Principles and our Privacy Policy. We may occasionally let you know about updates or new features; you can opt out at any time by replying to any message or emailing us.

8. YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law — our trial, refund and update commitments are in addition to those rights.
