Skills Required by Users of SportsTrak 3000

SportsTrak 3000 is a Windows program that reads and writes information about your carnival(s) to a local database and requires confidence in working with Windows

It takes more understanding of the computer operation than typically required by an iPad.

Typically a sport coordinator or nominee is the primary user of SportsTrak , interacting with the Admin staff and IT department

Area of Use

Set-up a carnival, with events, age groups and/or year levels, scoring system, etc

Performing backups

Familiarity with running Windows programs.  

Familiarity with athletics and swimming carnival organisation

Import Students from Admin System

Admin computer user who is able to select and export student data in the format shown here

Be able to edit CSV files, usually with Excel.  Be familiar with files and folders under Windows

General Windows

Knowing about Files and Folders, Sub-Folders and typical locations.

Knowing File Explorer and how to sort files, select files, relocate files.
