Seeing what is online
You may have multiple carnival data on-line.
Online data is used in two ways:
Allow entry of Competitors
or: Allow Entry of Results
The Status column of this table shows what stage you are in. You cannot have both Competitors and Results being worked on.
Overall you may:
Upload the Carnival for Competitor entry. Then download the Competitors. This is optional.
If Status says Competitor Entry, you cannot download Results. This stage is for the Pre-Entry of Competitors so that sort of list can be printed before the day.
Upload the Carnival for results entry. Then down load results. Also optional.
If Status says Results Entry, you cannot download Competitors. App users can add competitors to a event so as to give them a result. But the download will not record them as a pre-entered competitor
Even though you may see several carnivals in this list, the app will only see the one carnival. That is the one it has used the QR code for and the one marked as Current in the table.
This is whichever carnival is marked as Current back in the carnival window.
Its good to Delete carnivals here when finished with. There is no benefit later.
